2023 ICF Stand-up Paddling (SUP) World Championships Pattaya Successfully Ended

The International Canoe Federation (ICF) is the global umbrella organization that unites all national canoe organizations. The International Olympic Committee (IOC) has only authorized one body to manage canoe and kayak paddling sports, and that organization is in charge of all aspects of canoe sport in 10 categories worldwide. Following is Zray's report for 2023 ICF Stand-up Paddling (SUP) World Championships Pattaya.

A thrilling ICF stand-up paddling world championship in Pattaya, Thailand, on 16th Nov featured a gold medal for Indonesia, the second sprint title for Frenchman Noic Garioud and the first for American Seychelle Webster.

The focus shifted to long distance races. Frenchman Noic Garioud won his second world title in as many days, and Spain's Esperanza Barreras successfully defended her title on the third day of 2023 ICF SUP Pattaya.

On the last compeition day, Peter Weidert from Germany and Noic Garioud from France accomplished a feat that very few competitors have ever accomplished: winning all three gold medals at a single world championship for stand-up paddling.

On Sunday in Pattaya, Thailand, with American Connor Baxter successfully defending his 2022 technical title and Spain's Esperanza Barreras taking home her second global gold of the week.
